I'm so good at sleeping, I can even do it in places that you can never think of

This is one of the few rare days that the urge of wanting to write crumpled my tummy despite not having even  single idea on any topic.

Well, how about I write about my furballs? Oh no.. cat again?! LOL

My cats never failed to amazed me on their creativity of selecting their sleeping port. I have been wondering since long time ago about the criteria that had to do with the selection. However, I guess it will remained to be a question to me forever since I'm too lazy to go and find some reading materials about this weird habit. Plus, I still have plenty of much more important things to think about. So yeah, here I put on some of the unique places that my furballs choose to substitute their expensive pet bed.

Nyanyau bears the title 'The Lady of The House'. Being the most senior to live with us, this little diva really lives to it's calico's trait despite her petite size. She is 2 and a half years old. She was abandoned at our house when she was about a week old by the mother who found a new boyfriend and decide to runaway with him to a Happyland. She was bottle-fed and grew up to be the queen of the house.

The 'throne'

The food-quality inspector

The research reports + sleeping bag

The dvd 'player'

The cereal and snack watcher

Aircond repairman

The 'I-don't-care-about-you-goddamn-expensive-petbed-because-trashcan-is-much-more-comfortable'

The Iron-lady
The 'YOUR-PES-CAN-WAIT'
Nyanyau is really creative in finding new places to sleep. While the others on the other hand will look-up on Nyanyau and always try to steal her spots. Trust me, Nyanyau  is soooo diva that she will never-ever-after sleeps in places that the other furballs has slept on. And guess who is the most naughty one who loves to steals Nyanyau's port every time??

TADAAAAA!!! Gonjeng!!!!
This port was first discovered by Nyanyau. But halfway while she was in the middle of sleeping, this  envious tabby came and shoo her away! Hahahaha..
The art of trying to snatch the diva's port
And here, look at how pissed Nyanyau was. She was trying to get some nap and the busybody tabby slowly came and tried to curl-up with her. Of course she end-up leaving the iron board to show her protest and hatred.

Or probably my head hanger

Where are thinking of going, leaving me?
Apart from those two, the other two adults are very much outdoor. So their sleeping place is probably somewhere on the car roof, on the tree or in the attic.
Sunbathing in the middle of the porch

In between the boxes

Between the tiny legs
There are still more weird and funny places that these kitties choose to make their sleeping territory. Sometimes, I lift them up and put them nicely on their bed with the thought of making their sleep more comfortable. But most of the time, I just grab my phone, took a picture and just let them be...

Who are we to judge how cat should behave?

The Classified

I am a self-proclaimed Cat Lady. However, on contrary I do have a very understanding husband and astonishing social life.

Cat person is usually associated with Toxoplasmosis which is caused by bacteria Toxoplasma Gondii WHICH can be transmitted by infected cat's fecal matter. HOWEVER, research conducted by Vicki Benson in 2012 concluded that Cat ownership does not strongly increase the risk of T. Gondii infection. In fact, eating unwashed vegetables and undercooked meat is a much stronger risk factor.(Benson et.al, 2012). Therefore, cats owners....... please be rest-assured.

I couldn't be more happy with my furballs. Every single one of these little monster has their own history; dark, sad, gloom.. until they were rescued.
Classified is a black short-haired kitten whom nearly didn't make it. We found him crawling along a crowded corridor of a hypermarket during a heavily raining day as a very tiny kitten.('WE' is referring to my husband and I). He was being kicked by the passers-by while meowing trying to get something to eat. He was suffering from a terrible flu as his eyes were hardly open with a swollen right cheek. He was too weak and thin and dirty. It was Saturday afternoon so we scooped him and nursed him at home for 2-days while waiting for the vet to be open on Monday. When he reach our home, he ate the wet food we gave warily and went to sleep. I bet it was the fullest he could felt and the warmest place he could sleep on ever.

Classified back then

We decide to named him Classified. It was of course inspirate by the movie Penguins of Madagascar. He was terrified and scared at first. probably traumatized from his miserable life by the alley. It tooks quite a time to assured him that he is now safe and nothing to be worried of. Until one day, he volunteered himself for a quick snuggle. Bet it was the first time ever he was cuddled and probably the first time he started purring.

Classifed now

Classifed is now 2 months older and has given us happiness and warmth. A simple thought of rescuing a stray kitten that I have made back then can be rewarding for both us and Classified. There is lesson to be learnt. Please be a responsible cat owner and neuter your cats. Classified is considered as lucky enough to have found me or he might have sadder ending.

Please adopt. I'm rooting for neuter and spay. These felines deserve better life
